JobGoRound.com, a resource for job seekers throughout the job search process, said today it has unveiled a new mapping tool, which provides a visual depiction of where the jobs are.
If planning a relocation, job seekers can plot out where job creation is the most fruitful. The map can be toggled to access different geographies.
According to a news release, the job map is designed to integrate search engine and mapping technologies. It also serves as an alternative searching method for users who better absorb information visually than through text.
“The thing that makes the best job search services stand out is that they offer much more than a job search engine,” said Jason Kay, president of JobGoRound.com. “The job map, and other features like it, offer a way to not only search for job openings but also to see them filtered in a practically useful way.”
JobGoRound offers other services for job seekers, including a job search engine, resume writing tips and services, career articles, resume tag clouds, and craigslist job trends.
The job map comes on the heels of another new tool, Job Trends, which provides a similar integration of searching and filtering, allowing users to analyze trends in different industries to weigh options concerning field and location.
