Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be delivering the keynote at Taleo World 2011, a conference that will host 1,500 global talent management experts, according to a news release from Taleo.
Rice served under President George W. Bush as National Security Advisor from 2001-2005 and led the State Department from 2005-2009.
Rice served as provost of Stanford from 1993-1999. She also served on the board of directors for the Carnegie Corp., Schwab, Chevron, Hewlett Packard, the Rand Corp., the Transamerica Corp., and other organizations.
The Taleo event will focus on the importance of effective leadership and management and the challenges of recruiting, training and retaining top talent.
In addition to Rice, Deloitte Chairwoman Sharon L. Allen, Fortune Magazine Senior Editor Geoff Colvin, and New York Times & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Daniel Pink will be speakers for the event.
Taleo World 2011 will be held at the Hilton San Francisco from September 11-14.
