Job search engine Indeed.com has opened a new office in London, according to a company report released today.
Indeed said the expansion occurred to improve and expand service to clients in Europe and the UK.
Dylan Michael, Director of Sales at Indeed, has been charged with handling the new office’s operations.
Michael said, “Indeed is committed to the European market; a London office allows us to better serve our clients and form stronger relationships with the recruitment industry throughout Europe.”
London will be Indeed’s fifth office location. The company has four offices and 240 employees in the U.S.
According to Indeed, the timing was just right to open the new office. With more than three million unique visitors each month, Indeed.co.uk is the most visited job search engine and among the top three job sites in the UK, Indeed said. Traffic to Indeed.co.uk is up 120% year-over-year and sales have increased 250% over the same period.
Indeed is also recruiting for its new office. The company is hiring account executives, including native French and German speakers, to join its sales team in London.
