Blog, a marketplace for internships, announced today an alliance with the Society for Human Resource Management, a human resource management association.

The partnership will connect people with opportunities via a microsite, in addition to informing employers and students about the benefits of experiential education and providing tools that aim to optimize this process.

The announcement was made today by Robin D. Richards, chairman and CEO of, and Henry G. (Hank) Jackson, interim president and CEO of SHRM.

The reps said that SHRM and have created a platform for SHRM employers and students to facilitate connections. Students interested in HR careers will have access to job opportunities and other resources.

“SHRM is the most respected and influential human resource management organization in the world, and we’re excited to be its internship partner helping to promote and nurture the human resource profession,” Richards said.
