LinkUp, a national job search engine that only indexes jobs found on corporate career websites, announced today it has snagged’s 2011 Readers’ Choice Award for best job search engine.

The Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes products, features and services across more than a dozen categories, ranging from technology to hobbies to parenting and more, selected as the best by its readers.

On LinkUp, job seekers can access and apply direct to over 700,000 active jobs from approximately 22,000 companies.

According to its website, employers can run targeted, paid search campaigns sponsoring some or all of their jobs and pay per click as candidates are directed to the company’s website. In addition to the search engine, LinkUp also offers an application for Facebook recruiting that automatically replicates jobs from a company’s website onto a corporate Facebook page.

“This year’s Readers’ Choice Awards program had a record number of nominations submitted across more than a dozen categories and featured hundreds of finalists,” said Margot Weiss, managing editor, “We are thankful to all our readers for their participation and congratulate LinkUp on their success.”

Others who won in the job search category include:

  • Best Job Board – Dice
  • Best Career Resource Site – Optimal Resume
  • Best Professional Networking Site – LinkedIn
  • Best Social Media Site for Job Searching – TweetMyJOBS
