Madgex moves into the U.S. job board market

Madgex, the U.K.’s most prominent job board software provider, appointed Amped Market Place Inc. (AMP) on Thursday as the sole distributor of its software and services in the United States.

Madgex has been in operation for the past decade and currently powers 250 job boards, with a particular focus on media-related sites. Although Madgex has some U.S. clients, the agreement will allow clients to have ongoing consultancy and outsourced sales support plus the option to add social media and search engine optimization to their online recruitment businesses.

“The commercial partnership with Madgex will enable a one-stop solution for media companies that want to maximize their recruitment revenue and traffic through best in class software and services,” noted Terry Baker, CEO of AMP and formerly of Addicio and Hire.com.

“This new commercial partnership will help Madgex to achieve this goal by adding to our existing North American client base which includes The Washington Post, The Minneapolis Star Tribune and Lexis Nexis,” said Simon Conroy, CEO of Madgex. “y utilizing the local market knowledge which Terry Baker has acquired through his years of direct experience with online media and the value added services of AMP, we can further increase our position in the global market.”

Madgex’s software includes a resume search and pay-for-performance candidate delivery model, which will be combined with AMP’s recruitment services, including complete mobile site,  mobile application support, social media integration and optimization, search engine optimization and direct sales and support.
