Monster.com, a job matching engine and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc., today debuted an iPad application designed specifically for job seekers.
The free application is available today for download at the Apple App store. It was created to complement the user experience on the Monster.com web site and is fully integrated with a user’s Monster account.
Users will have access to stored resumes, cover letters, and apply histories.
-Search for jobs using built-in GPS for jobs nearest seekers;
-Access and manage saved jobs;
-Save jobs to review later;
-Apply for jobs;
-View application history; and
-View resumes and edit cover letters.
According to a press release, in the five months since Monster unveiled the iPhone application, seekers have conducted 1.5M job searches, viewed 3.1M jobs and applied for over 200,000 jobs.
Monster customers whose job postings are on Monster are now accessible on the mobile engagement channel.
