New video resume site launches

theJobSight.com, a new video resume site for job seekers and employers, announced its launch today.

The site is calling itself “the most innovative, automated and easy to use video resume solution available.” Features include the ability to broadcast resumes via video to recruiters around the world, pre-screening capabilities, matching technology, and multiple pricing options.

Once an employer has set up an account on the site, they can pre-screen candidates using the site’s match criteria feature, which will automatically recommend candidates based on the recruiter’s preferences.

The recruiter can then further narrow the job candidate pool by reviewing the video resumes of top candidates before the initial interview process. Employers can then opt to use theJobSight to conduct first round interviews with candidates via Skype.

theJobSight.com offers multiple pricing options for employers and also a free account featuring one seven-day job listing. All job postings made to theJobSight.com include access to all recruiting features.

Job seekers and recruiters can also interact with each other on theJobSight.com, which allows all parties to share information via social networks. Individuals conducting a job search can also visit the site’s blog for weekly job seeking tips and information.
