RiseSmart, a provider of next-generation outplacement and recruitment process outsourcing solutions, yesterday unveiled SmartRedeploy™, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to help employers retain talent.

RiseSmart software engineers set out to create a platform that would allow managers to match employees to other suitable positions instead of losing them through reductions in force.
Managers can use the platform to match available openings with employee skills, certifications, experience, education, and location. SmartRedeploy then returns a list of potential internal candidates, as well as a prioritized ranking based on closest match.
Hiring managers can make notes, attach documents, and search a variety of data fields to find a candidate with a specific skill or a candidate in a particular location.
