SmartBrief and MMA go to market with jobs

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) said today that in collaboration with SmartBrief, a publisher of targeted business news and information, it has launched a niche job board for the mobile marketing industry.

The impetus behind the job board came from a lack of sources of hire for recruiters in the mobile marketing space, MMA said in a news release.

The MMA also said the highly competitive mobile marketing industry is estimated to grow significantly in the next five years.

“As the leading trade association for mobile marketing, we believe it is essential to provide this critical job listings service not only to MMA members but to the broader mobile marketing industry as well,” said Greg Stuart, Global CEO, MMA. “We are confident that this will become an integral resource for talent acquisition and development across the ecosystem.”

The MMA SmartBrief Job Board will be delivered each weekday morning to more than 13,000 mobile marketing professionals.

To encourage employers to post jobs, the MMA is offering some discounts good for the near future. MMA members & non-members will receive a 20 percent discount for all job posting packages purchased by July 31st.

Advertisers can choose from two- and four-week durations, as well as annual packages that include 10 or more postings.

The MMA promises a hefty dose of exposure for job listings. All postings will appear on the MMA website job page, the SmartBrief website job page and in every issue of the MMA SmartBrief.
