Yum! Brands, a large restaurant company that owns KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Long John Silver’s, among other brands, announced this week it has signed a deal with Kenexa, a provider of business solutions, to provide recruiting services for its China division.
Yum Brands will be implementing Kenexa’s 2x BrassRing and human resource consulting services.
2x BrassRing is a customized technology service used by companies with decentralized recruiting processes and by multinational organizations with multilingual requirements.
Yum! Brands, Inc., based in Louisville, Ky., is the world’s largest restaurant company in terms of system restaurants with more than 37,000 restaurants in over 110 countries and territories and more than 1 million associates. Yum! is ranked #216 on the Fortune 500 List, with nearly $11 billion in revenue in 2009.
According to BizJournals, Yum China operates more than 3,000 restaurants in more than 650 cities and towns in China. This year, the company plans to open 475 restaurant units in China.
Earlier this month Yum Brands reported during a slide show presentation that it expects its international restaurants to continue growing faster than the company’s U.S. businesses.
